A collection of 19th century lignum vitae and rosewood sounding blocks from a Cheshire courthouse. 
The blocks vary in size and shape, with the smallest being 11cm dia and the largest 15cm dia.
Hooks have been added to the rear of each block to allow for wall mounting.
